Dear Perry Harrison Elementary Families,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement as we prepare to kick off the 2023-2024 school year. I am honored and thrilled to introduce myself as the new Principal of Perry Harrison Elementary. As we turn this page together, I wanted to take a moment to share a short message.
First and foremost, I am deeply committed to continuing the legacy of excellence at Perry Harrison Elementary by learning, listening, and serving with you on this journey. I want every student, parent, and staff member to feel valued and empowered. I believe with all my heart that teamwork makes the dream work, and I am excited to become your partner as we continue to create a vibrant and enriching learning environment.
At Perry Harrison Elementary, we are more than just a school- we are a family. My goal is to build upon the strong foundation already established here while also exploring our visions for the future and opportunities for growth and innovation. I am dedicated to putting students first in all our decisions and look forward to working together to ensure they receive the very best!
So, along with this message, welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! We will be working to hire new Mariner educators in the coming weeks and preparing for another successful year! We are thrilled to see you all in late August. We hope you will join us for our Open House on August 24th from 5-7 pm! Stay tuned for more details on that evening and more coming soon.
In the meantime, make sure to follow our Mariner PTA Facebook page and website for details on serving our school in the summer months.

Welcome to Mrs. Bricely's Page!
Dear Perry Harrison Families,
I am thrilled to be joining the PHE family as the new assistant principal. I have been impressed by the staff, students, and families that I have already met, and I look forward to meeting all of you in the near future. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the staff, students, and families. I will be at Perry Harrison every Monday and Tuesday, and in the morning on Wednesday. The remainder of the week, I will be serving Moncure School.
I’m a lifelong learner, with degrees from Ohio State and Bowling Green and doctoral work in Leadership Studies. I bring nearly 30 years of experience in education to PHE. I have taught almost every grade in some capacity, including instructing future teachers at the collegiate level. I also served as an administrator in Ohio. Most recently, I taught first grade at Siler City Elementary.
I value building relationships through respect and communication. I value providing a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Most importantly, I value the unique gifts and talents that each child brings to make Perry Harrison extraordinary.
Respectfully,
Angie Bricely, Assistant Principal
